The chick..

We've now got two baby chicks, it's very exciting!

Both chicks have been outside today and are being fiercely guarded by their mum.

It's been really hot over here the past few days,

on Saturday we went to the beach at Århus with Christian's parents.

It's a lovely beach, just near the city and the forest.

We'd just about given up hope of chicks from our 4 broody hens when yesterday Christian found this gorgeous one : )

Another one hatched out today too, we'll see what the weekend brings....

The first roses are in bloom on the farm : )

It was really hot on saturday, poor molly had been feverish and teething so we just tried to keep cool

with ice lollies, the paddling pool and keeping in the shade.

Molly was a bit better on Sunday so we went for a bike ride, a good way to cool down in the heat, well for the passengers!

We had a few supplies with us for the trip. We cycled to the woods but there were too many bugs to stay and eat in there!

There had been alot of rain in the night and seemilngly double the amount of bugs crawling over us, so we made a sharp exit! Alfie and I seem to be very popular with the creepy crawlies and mosi's : (

Back to the garden for a cuddle in the hammock!
