Molly's party cont.

Faster/Aunty Lotte and Katrine, Uncle Leif's carer.

Uncle Leif and Great Granny tucking into hot choc and whipped cream.

Alfie, Selma; Nikolai and Aisha enjoying all the sweet things!

Lotte made a gorgeous cinnamon cake with caramel icing and her famouse muffins with white choc. I made a victoria sponge, following Hugh F T's recipie in his family cookbook, you can't buy self raising flour over here so i guessed with baking powder and it wasn't the same! We also had traditional Danish sweet bread buns and for dinner later Preben made seafood paella with choc. moouse for pud, mmmmm. : )

All in all we had a great day with family and good friends, although we were missing some in hosp and UK!
Molly was our little star : )

Molly's birthday cont.

Alfie got a prezzie too, sliceable wooden fruit and veg.!

We had a party at Farfar and Farmor's house, as we thought Farmor would be home but unable to travel to our house. In the end she had to stay in hosp but we were able to take it in turns to go and visit her throughout the day.

Molly's first birthday!

Grandad helping Molly open her prezzies, she got a pair of homemade trousers from mummy and daddy!

The horses that live at the top of our field escaped to come and say hello, much to everyone's delight : )

Alfie made Molly a collage, he helpfully opened the prezzie too ; )

Molly got a new winter hat from Farmor, she knit it Tuesday night while waiting to go to hosp. Sadly she missed the party as she was having a little op but has come out today so that's great and she's feeling much better.

Thanks to Catherine in Canada for the top, fits perfectly and trousers are lovely, we all loved the fold out card, alfie insisted on eating lunch today with it! Can't wait to see Molly in the pjs from Claire in London, they are so cute! Thank you xxxx

Well sadly Molly didn't quite enjoy the forest as much as the rest of us so she started to kick up a fuss and would not really play, so one mushroom and a few chestnuts were all we had to show, but it was a beautifull day none the less!

We finally had the time to chop down a big branck that had broken on the apple tree, and the weather was fantastic all weekend! Farmor and Farfar took Alfred and Molly to the zoo on saturday(we won't get into the ethical debate on this venture!) and me and Caroline were able to get some work done in our hallway and other odd jobs arount the farm.

We had the last chimney built by two very good brick layers that I used to work with, and as you can see they were commited to getting the job done and worked into the night.
