Honey

Look at our honey harvest!

We thought we would have to wait until next year for our first honey harvest but after checking the frames we found there was plenty of honey ready.

There was enough for about 5 jars.

We just squeezed it out of the honeycomb by hand. Next time we'll have some more professioal equipment to swing the honey out! We also melted the honeycomb so we have some beeswax.
